On the offensive 1


Courgette and Tomato Gratin (thanks, Marie at The English Kitchen). That managed to reduce the round courgette numbers by 4.

    Mmmm, well, yes.... like marrows, they tend to taste more of what you put with them than of themselves. Thank goodness for two kinds of cheese and some juicy home grown garlic, sez I. Roger, more are swelling gently down on the allotment; you are welcome to them.

    Yum, we have a courgette glut too, as we always do every year because we never learn. Also a chard glut, too much kale and an incipient bean glut. I can feel a chutney marathon coming on.

    how about a Ratatouille? .... look for anything that also says zucchini in the recipes... ......... cuz that's what we call them over here...

    My husband's cousin has just arrived with the fruits of her courgette glut, so - thanks for the ideas.

    I wonder if I should stop blogging and do some weeding before it rains. Probably.
