I love poppies in the garden, and they are gorgeous in the wild. We don't see them growing wild here, sadly, but I've seen them in wheatfields in England.
Crumbs ! Newcastle must enjoy its own special microclimate . Here it's still cold enough to take the skin off your face . Eventually , should we all warm up , we should have yellow poppies .... but red are better . Well done !!
