The bathroom should (fingers crossed) be finished on Monday, all tiling complete, new lighting in place.
The utility room - well, I have no idea, but all I can think of just now is having a shower, so I don't really care about anything else!
The sitting room window? Just being replaced with an exact copy; this one fitted nowhere, having been altered and messed about with for many years; the wind howled through the gaps, and you could see daylight through one section of the frame.
Oh Rachel, you have me chuckling again! Perhaps you might find a few old pieces of clothing to dress with, have the dogs and the kitties look throughly miserable and join you on the church's steps...Someone is bound to take pity on all of you! I loved the 'stroll' on the beach photos! Tell the dogs MacIntosh and I are very envious! (our beaches are just plain rocks and lots of barnacle and it hurts his paws)
I love that last photo - I think that's one to frame and put on the wall! Malcolm is enjoying the photos of your mayhem, as he doesn't have to do the work. We have actually bought a sample pot for the bathroom, but haven't yet worked up the energy to dab it on the wall - must knuckle down and get it done before Christmas .... we have been here for 5 years, and it's the only room we haven't done! There was a slight pause there, as I had to chase next door's cat, which was creeping up on the birds!!

I'm so happy to see Tosca out and about and I hope the coughs are getting better. I'd suggest string round the waist of your coat, and a worn scarf around your neck . . . might help with the income? speak soon xxxxxxxx
