Whoosh!

The days go by, my feet don't touch the ground, and the planned blog post falls off the To Do list day after day.

Next week I will have no visitors at all, and I can spend my time not planning meals, not cooking, not chatting, not going anywhere interesting/lovely/unusual/plain funny.

Of course, my new family the builders will still be with me.

I'm beginning to wonder if I will cope with life without the builders.

Back soon.

  6. Lovely to hear from you, the silence was a bit worrying. What a lovely part of the world you live in now. I read about snow in the north of England ( you must be glad to have left that behind).I love the new floor, beautiful!

  11. You'll miss the company when the builders have left. How's the bathroom coming along?

  12. You've never given me the impression of being Sloth and Indolence personified .... but the Somerset air might eventually tip even you over the edge !
But I do hope we are , at least , kept up to date with occasional photos of you and your fellow residents heaped on cushions about your pristine and beautiful cottage . A bit like Hello! magazine , in fact ..... only much , much better .

  15. My builder now pops in for cups of tea and the odd spot of technical support (My other half is a computer geek). I even include him in the odd lunch :)

The floor looks great - wish I had it here....

  16. Just be glad your builders don't dress like our plumbers over here in the US.... that last picture would have had to be censored! 8-) (Our plumbers are famous for short shirts and low-hanging britches, otherwise known as the "vertical smile".)

Alas, WV is going back on - I know it's hateful, but so are the robot spammers. Please please don't let WV stop you from leaving your oh-so-welcomed comments!
