I agree with Millie - it certainly passes inspection. What a great improvement. Will you paint it grey, I wonder? Mind you, fuchsia's a lovely colour in a bedroom.
A very splendid cupboard , I can quite see why Millie approved ! If Mise is right and it's intended for eiderdowns then it will shortly be empty .... I believe we're all about to have what Michael Fish would probably have called "a cold snap" this weekend .
How on earth did it get built so fast? Had he already visited and taken measurements? If so, somehow I missed that information. Closets are the one big problem with older homes. Looks good.
Arthur R - no, it won't be grey, but a shade to match the curtains. Fuchsia - you're being naughty, I think.... Amy, yes he did. And did most of the work in his workshop before tweaking and assembling it all here.
Perfect! When you said the inspector arrived, I thought you were serious for a moment. So now I know the cupboard isn't perfect, it's purrfect. So much better.
Alas, WV is going back on - I know it's hateful, but so are the robot spammers. Please please don't let WV stop you from leaving your oh-so-welcomed comments!
it looks lovely and will look even better when painted, glad little puss approved. :) Fran
ReplyDeletebrilliant, what a difference xx

ReplyDeleteI am pleased to see that Millie approves of the new installation. Who inspects Paintworks?
ReplyDeleteThe cupboard looks very good, perhaps I should speak to my local joiner?
It's good to get a final inspection and seal of approval!
ReplyDeleteIf I ever come into some $$$ I shall fly you over to address my improvements.

Now that's what I call a decent cupboard. I agree with the inspector there.

Fabulous! It's always good to have a satisfactory report from the inspector.
ReplyDeleteIt looks perfect! (And no more space for a certain cat to hide...)
ReplyDeleteI`m sure the Inspector approved. A lovely cupboard to hide in and find a dark corner to sleep in.
ReplyDeleteKeep that furry inspector away from your new paint!!
ReplyDeleteAre you available for surveys and ideas?
ReplyDeleteAnd I see that the cupboard is intended for eiderdowns: no better purpose.

ReplyDeleteLovely cupboard, excellent joiner, lucky you.
ReplyDeleteYour joiner did a good job with the ceiling angle! It fits right in there.
ReplyDeleteWill you paint it to match the little bureau?
