1. America did the right thing yesterday. Fireworks are in order; how useful that tonight is Bonfire Night!
2. A year ago today agreement was given that I could retire early. The alternative had been too awful to contemplate, so the Bonfire Night fireworks were definitely all for me that night, and (to me at least) they will be again tonight, although I am perfectly willing to share them....I'm too saintly to be true, I know......
So, double celebration whizz bang crackle and flash!
