Look what happens if you leave your giant stick outside overnight, in a hard frost.
It shrinks!
(Only a little, Rachel mutters grimly.)
But it's still a great stick. My favourite!
Today we went out in the snow. My favourite, snow!
I took my yellow ball. My favourite ball!
Not such a hazard to cars, Rachel said.
Tosca didn't like it much in the snow. She trailed behind us, hoping we'd go home soon.
But I had time to play first. I love snow! I love sticks! I love my yellow ball on a rope! I love - Ok, enough, Florence, says Rachel. We all know you just love life...... Let's get that frozen tartan doglet home to defrost.
Yay! Home! I love home!

The energy levels make me think of a little boy , whom I love dearly .... and throw balls to on a fairly regular basis .Preferably in a park . A big park .

The frozen tartan doglet can hang out with my cat . . . underneath whichever is the HOTTEST radiator. Yesterday I walked to the nearest grocery stores and I saw a woman walking three dogs in purple/pink jumpers. How I longed for a camera!

Oh Flossie, how I wish you could meet up with Zak on days like this,the two of you could love snow and big sticks togethe whilst my old dog would gladly accompany Tosca back to the sofa.
