Oh, it's gorgeous! I was working at Jane Austen House this morning and there are some huge blowsy orange poppies blooming. I've only one in bloom so far: a white one with a deep purple center.
Your poppy looks wonderful, and so do all the supporting plants behind! What is the plant with the two fingery leaves just behind in the last picture? Dan -x-
I love poppies - this one is beautiful! Ours isn't quite ready to flower - I shall have to camp in the front garden to watch it unfld like yours. (at least I can now see it from the lounge, as I cleaned the windows yesterday!!)
