Tosca is too vision-impaired with cataracts to spot them, and Flossie is too ball-obsessed to see anything other than the occasional squirrel. And even then, the ball usually wins....
oh.. and one other thing... Alpacas love to spit at people when they get close..at least the ones we met.. but their fleece is heavenly .. reminds me of what angel hair would be like.
I saw loads of alpacas when I went to Peru last year. I bought some wool (as cheap as chips out there) and knitted some incredibly soft baby items. I'd keep in with the owners, you might get the odd bargain!
Alas, WV is going back on - I know it's hateful, but so are the robot spammers. Please please don't let WV stop you from leaving your oh-so-welcomed comments!

ReplyDeleteOh, they are lovely! I'd be down there introducing myself to the owner and asking to pet them!
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful. I really need a bigger yard. I wonder what they neighbors would think.
ReplyDeleteNow I definitely need to come for a visit!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I love them !!! My dog would chase them, for sure, he is a bit like "Benton" (youtube).
ReplyDeleteTime to get out your spinning wheel?
ReplyDeleteOr Fenton the dog.
ReplyDeleteWhat cuties, even although their bravery may be called into question.
ReplyDeleteI definitely want one of those . I'd even sacrifice my charming neighbour for an alpaca or two ...
ReplyDeleteNo. Your house is too small!! You can't have one!!
ReplyDeleteNo, Rachel. Put it out of your mind. The gang would not be pleased if you acquired a couple of those.
ReplyDeleteThe last thing I expected to see. But totally charming.

ReplyDeleteNeed their names, please!
