Forgot to say.....
I'm looking at the area round Minehead, Somerset..... Porlock (as in the Person From who interrupted Coleridge), Dunster, and that sort of pretty place. Views, countryside, sea, history, interesting people.
I wonder if I shall fit in?

Lovely part of the world of which I'm very fond.My GGGrandfather was at school near there.
I checked the area out on Google maps since I'm not familiar with towns in the UK. Looks like a wonderful place. Wish I could move there.

Now don't they look sweet. On the plus side, you need never be short of straw (for the garden!).

Are they the beasts of Exmoor? Better make sure you've got strong locks.
You have chosen a very attractive area to live in and am sure you will fit in very well. For Minehead especially, as my memory recalls is a mixed population; for one of the London boroughs built a road of houses for it's pensioners.
So they be used to foreigners they be :)

No, I'm sure you're safe: those two are definitely an item, I'd say.
I'm not sure I ever knew where the Person's Porlock was. One lives and learns.

I don't know Somerset , having only spent a day in Chew Magna once years ago , but it looks full of lovely houses , one of which will be perfect for you and yours .
And those two dapper gents will be only to help you move in .... you only have to ask .

My ex-boss retired-early to Minehead. He ran off with the woman next door about 6 years ago! He's still there, so he must like it! :o)
