...from one who (now) knows: don't start playing with your Blogger template unless you are:
- not tired and grumpy from all that election-following and too much telly
- a bit dim when it comes to toggling effectively between old and new templates
- capable of being decisive about colours
- able to pick colours that don't look like an unexciting range of make-up
- patient enough to go and unpick it all when you decide that you hate it
- not a person who says rather too readily "Sod this!" and goes off to make a cup of tea over which to sulk
