That 'live feed' wotsit at the right hand side of my posts - how addictive it is! Now I want to know more - who are all these visitors (you)? What made them (you) come to my blog? What do they (you, etc etc) look like? What kind of houses do they live in? How many of them have cats? Chickens? Children? Spouses they call Hubby? Do they knit/weave/sew/bake/garden? Can they sing in key? Compose haiku? Do they like the dusk as much as I do? Will they leave a comment/identify themselves/come back a second time? Do I know them already?
So many unknowns! It's strangely intriguing, slightly unsettling, and possibly somewhat unhealthy; I shall keep it running for a week, and then gauge how barmy I'm growing before I decide on whether or not to keep it.

Heh. I am the Amsterdam one. I live alone and have no pets, but I do love animals and reading about your cats.
hey ! yeah it's just me ... and I show up as Halifax which is actually 2 hours (by car) away from here. And as you know yes I do have cats and one shagg -ah-licious terrier mix, brick house, bake, cook, sew, cut, paste and lately watch the birds in the garden while in a trance like state. And I do love dusk perhaps as much as you do because it means - nest time, book time, my most favourite time of the day - well favourite that is closely followed by dawn, 5 am getting up and having coffee time. It's all those hours in between that I struggle with. Wink.

Two mysteries solved at once! Great.
lethe, I had wondered, because you don't have a link to click - does this mean you haven't got a blog? (only asking - no blogger-superiority-complex criticism intended!)
Susan, the French call dusk "l'heure entre chien et loup" (the hour between dog and wolf) which I think sums up perfectly this most magical time of day.
oh my (blushing I am) I do mean...(translation for all you Brits and the like) shagg-ah-licious - as in shaggy, wiry, ragged, rough, unkempt black & grey fur. Ah-licious as in sweet, endearing, cute as a button, my love, my chien.
I do have a LiveJournal (I'll try and post the link, the underscores make it difficult), but my more personal entries are only visible to friends, i.e. people with an LJ account whom I have added to my friends list (if you have one I'll add you).
Well, that's the second version of the live feed thingummy up there now; I asked the Mad Inventors how to avoid showing my own blog every time I refreshed or moved around in it, and to my amazement, I got a prompt response which I could understand, no geek-speak! So now I can, if I want (oh yes!) look at where you all came from..... mwahahahaha.......
I'm the one flagged up as from Warrington - though from experience this will sometimes appear to be be Manchester. Or Crewe. Confused? So am I.
I live on the Wales/Shropshire border. I think you know that. (The plant is doing well, incidentally.) I know where I am. I'm here now.
Confused too, mountainear. Glad the plant is ok - didn't dare ask in case it had died. (It? They?) Hope it will flower for you.
I'm the one that checked in about 23.03 and supposed to be from Birmingham, UK. Can't work that out, but anyway, I'm in Warwickshire soon to move to Somerset, two cats, one dog and you can see what I look like and what I go on about on my blog! If you want to... I love dusk too, and as one of the comments says, nest time, love that notion. Currently reading a book about Shiatsu, Women Who Run With The Wolves and The Witch of Exmoor and just in from Coppelia. You're not any madder than most of us by the way :-)
yes, and it will drive you barmy trying to figure out who is visiting. Look that will you? ..it says I come here by way of Burnaby...which is over a thousand miles from my house in Calgary, Alberta, Canada... it is actually in British Columbia, the next province over. Totally weird...
I have no animals... but love cats.... used to have them, but my poor sweetie has such sinus problems...I'm not sure I dare.
Don't read much except craft and doll/bear mags because I make both of those... also read plenty of info on the computer...but, occasionally love a good mystery...
I love to cook and bake.... and in the past year I have begun to bake breads. Great fun and ..but, now I also have to work out regularly... so I don't bulge over my waistband... I'm too cheap to buy new clothes.
You already know who I am and quite a lot about me. Except perhaps that yes, I can sing on key and no I don't write haiku. Some days I can barely write my name. I'd say this spy gadget has reaped great rewards already judging from the number of comments. I love reading your blog. But you already know that. See above.
I am another Halifax one and unlike Susan, I am in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Susan led me here. Love the allotment!
Ha, I am from Northampton according to your widget, though of course, I am in Oxfordshire.
(I use statcounter, which is much more user friendly and doesn't take up so much room in your blogspace)
lethe, I don't know anything about LiveJournal - is this another thing to obsess about?
PG, stat counter seems a lot more sensible but not so amusing, and doesn't seem to get people so fired up! But after my self-imposed trial of Live Feed.... Never a webcam though!
only me, just checking in on you up the road! :)
Hi - I'm your visitor from Adelaide in South Australia, visiting via Susan's site at 29 Black Street. I am an animal lover who loves creatures both great and small.Currently I have no pets as the lease does not allow it- a blessing in a way as I'm a softie for pleading eyes and a soft paw.
Says I'm from London but I'm a bit further out than that.
Nah, it's nothing to obsess about. LiveJournal is just another, slightly different kind of blogging site.
I'm the one from Melbourne (if your live feed is still on). Three boys, one large black and white greyhound, mudbrick house up on a high hill. I like soup.
