Most of the doors in the house are shut, the cat flap is set to 'entry only', toys are scattered liberally, and a watchful Millie is supervising. Black kitten has left the sitting room.
I have pictures of Millie at much the same age, doing much the same things, and also some less desirable things. I've just had a look at them, and been reminded of what an exceptionally naughty villain she was. This kitten isn't in her league yet, and hopefully he will never be, for my own sake. I aged five years bringing up that girl.

Aren't they just wonderful at that age though? I love it know my crew just take it in turns to sit on us or the bed but sometimes I miss the 'live wire' of a kitten. Mum & dad picked up a new young cat possib;y 8 months old yesterday - can't wait to meet him. A Ragdoll-Siamese with fur like thistle down apparently.
