licorice allsort and sheep-mouse

He's been moved into the front room this evening, instead of being on the kitchen table, so that the girls can't just scuttle past while shooting death-ray looks at him. Now they can sit and send them across the room instead, and I can sit beside him and read in comfort, discreetly supervising.

Millie has got within two feet of the cage, very cautiously, as though about to defuse a bomb, and there has been a mutual exchange of bad language and hissing. He's no scaredy-cat, this little lad. But he's not getting out of the cage unless she's safely out of the way, or until she's become resigned to her lot; poor Millie, she's finding it hard to relax, and needs lots of extra attention. The dog and Lottie don't get so hot and bothered.

I can see him growing by the day; he's loving, lively and energetic, with a loud purr and a keen interest in whatever I'm eating.

He would make such a delightful addition to a household. Oh, how I hope he is found a home soon!

Hello! Just popped in from Smitonius and Sonata and love the licorice kitten! I am the new owner of a dachshund pup so fun and games in this house too, and cute pictures on my blog. It's really hard not to keep snapping the next adorable pose, isn't it?

You are doing well with him, he couldn't have a better foster mum.

Allsort ah a name or maybe Al for short. He is dear and doesn't look at all timid - which is great. xo les Gang
