The trouble with not having seen Florence today - she was away with the class on a school trip that involved a minibus (Fran's van) and rolling fields to romp in - is that I've had the time and opportunity to talk to even more people about her. But hardly anyone has seen her yet.
I know that very soon, people will start crossing the street to avoid me, whispering to each other "Quick, hide - here's that mad woman who goes on and on about her imaginary dog..."

Oh, go on, enjoy it! You know we're all gagging to know 'what happens next' and to counter with all the *amazing* things our own special dogs have achieved. Why should it be otherwise?
No , we'll only start worrying when you wander around trailing a dog-less lead ....
Ah, I and your other imaginary friends quite understand...
The trouble with you not having seen Florence today is that we are deprived of fresh photos of her. We thrive on all little news snippets (but are starting to miss cats and 'the dog who was there first').
As soon as they see her, they are going to fall in love with her. She is just too cute to resist.
cute post....gosh i just love your kittys so much...
happy to stop by today and visit
kary, teddy and all her kittys
Didn't Dick King Smith write that book !
The Invisible Dog by Dick King Smith
hahahahh.... I looked at the little cartoon and read the caption...and said...hmmm.... what does it mean? I didn't even notice the last little guy was a dog ...hahahhaha.... and...yes...I do have my glasses on. Guess kids and dogs all look the same to me...'specially wearing back packs.....
You could always get one of those toy dogs on wheels and trundle it along bhind you .....
Fisher Price did a lovely little dog with wheels if your neighbours really don't believe you have another real one!

Fisher Price still do make a dog on wheels! My grandaughter had one for her birthday. White with brown ears......
It won`t be long before the real Florence materialises at the end of your lead Rachel.I bet you can`t wait for her to come home for good!
