Aristotle's mum came round this evening, bearing thank-you gifts.
The old philosopher is fine, having settled back at home as though nothing had happened.
All right for him, sez I, but I rather enjoyed the flurry of activity and forward thinking he brought with him last Monday. I had started planning changes to my house layout to accommodate the addition of a sightless cat, and considering counselling support for Scooter and Millie.
Ah, well. I suppose that four cats are enough.....

Did you read in the newspaper about the cat that was found in York and had gone missing from the Isle of Wight a year before!
Glad Aristotle is happy back at home.

And there is the new stair carpet to consider.
How lovely! Hope he's doing OK. Is Scooter more philosophical about the whole thing?

Hehe :) They do get into your heart very quickly those cats do. Glad Aristotle is home safely again - you are a very kind lady.
We had guessed that you would only part with him if his rightful owner came forward!
Four cats are DEFINITELY enough!
I've only got two. Deprived...
enjoy your pets...
Happy Sunday.
What a lovely lady! Animal lovers are special people aren't they. Glad all is going well in Aristotle's life thanks to you two. He may suffer with vision problems, but he certainly had a lot of foresight choosing you as a guardian angel.x
Fine gifts. She really appreciated you.
Which of the cats gets to eat the flowers?
With Aristotle and owner re-united , it's a cosy Sunday for you , feet up (!!) and a box of Thornton's . Sounds good !
Aristotle certainly chose the right doorstep, though I bet Scooter is relieved to see him safely back at home.

So *she* is not an old lady after all! I am so glad he found his proper home, it's a nice happy ending, though poor woman returning to find her home burgled. And yes, four cats is plenty, unless it is an emergency; you don't want to end up as the mad 'cat woman'.
and very well deserved
All's well indeed when all ends well with flowers and chocolates.

My Mum always said I would get my reward in heaven - but I think I would rather have flowers and chocolates! I'm glad that Aristotle has been reunited with his owner - he was a very wise cat to choose you to find him!!
I feel bad for the woman having her house broken into, but so happy that Aristotle found his way back home. I loved the photos of him settled warm and safe while he was in your kind care.
Oh my, I've been away on business and am just catching up on all the brouhaha from the paint and water to handsome Aristotle. I thought I had a busy week! Hope you are enjoying some peace and quiet today.
Oh I am very glad to read that they are reunited, how lucky he was to find temporary safety with you.
