Wally the painter arrived today.
His helpers were ready and waiting.
Florence helped too. You can see that she has less experience than Millie.
White tips to those whiskers on the left.
Both ears sporting a dab of paint.
She says that she did her best. Next time she'll remember to wear a hairnet.

I've done much worse than this to myself!
I was going to be cheeky and say that you suited the hairnet, but I would quite like to stay friends!! It wouldn't be a home without a few pet hairs embedded in the paint!
My goodness! Wally is very tidy! More than can be said for Flossie. Will her whiskers get stuck to the skirting board do you think?
Have you considered...
holding Florence up against the wall and having her shake her head?
It might make a very interesting finish.
I'd love to see a picture of the young Ena Sharples. She was probably lovely.
Our dogs always manage to get paint on themselves but it wears off eventually. It doesn't look so bad on the Dalmatian but the black Labradors, like Flossie, really sport it like a new fashion.
Now she's starting to look a bit more like Nika who has a splash of pointer in her.
Nice try Flossie, we all know you're pure lab.

She's still a very beautiful dog - even with the new white markings. Perhaps you're using the wrong colour paint...
I hope the paint is dry on the door frame that Milly is leaning on!
I'm surprised that with all that paint and all those paws that there isn't more mayhem.
I'm assuming Wally didn't say "Flossie, you're fired".
Hee hee heeeeee!
Hi
I love helping cats and dogs!! It's amazing how they appear when work is being done to lend a paw!!
Lovely pictures.

Hairnets! Do you know, there's something about that photo that makes me yearn for one. I could be as formidable as her.
Oh that nose! That nose just makes me smile, I LOVE Florence! I've just caught up on the twin story and it's such a happy uplifting tale. I'm really happy for you, and the twins. I do have my fingers crossed for the house sale.

I have everything crossed for your sale. However, I am concerned that you will not want to move, once you have the nice new stair carpet, the shower room and now NEW paint.
