Kennel

Flossie thinks it's time she had an outdoor wooden kennel. She has given up on waiting for me to build her such a luxury, and is collecting materials to construct her own. These timbers are the side products of her personal mission to clean the river of flotsam and jetsam.

Flossie's kennel will be rustic in appearance.

She's doing pretty well so far. I may help her with the roof felting.

Hubby has been cutting back some of our hedges. We could send her log parcels!

I am laughing away at work. Everyone is looking at me strangely. Maybe they always are.

I am very impressed with Flossie's go ho DIY spirit.

Extra treat.

Has she been watching too much Edwardian Farm? Still, British enterprise is just what we need . . .

What is it with labs and socking great lumps of wood? My pal's lab always has some in her mouth! My Dillon, mongrel of the first order, has never even given a thought to picking up wood......can't eat it ! x

I think that she needs to recruit a team of Amish dogs to have a Kennel Raising day.

That looks suspiciously as if Flossie has been to Hundred Acre Wood to collect her building materials. Poor Eeyore, homeless again. Meanwhile, how is the House at Flossie Corner coming along?

Has she thought this through though?? Will her rustic summerhouse be any more secure from the squatting predilictions of her feline companions? I foresee her doing all the building work then Millie moving in....

In order to ensure a positive outcome, the Boo here has offered himself as project manager. Payment in twigs/remote controls/pens will suffice.

We went skiing the other day and an enthusiastic black lab was bounding about ready to set off with his master when he spied a large branch that was lying right in the middle of the parking lot..he wanted to take it with him sooooo much! everyone who saw him had to smile
