It's a dog thing. No matter how careful you are to keep them away, they always find the wet paint. :o)

Somewhere on that door, there is a smudge with, perhaps, a Flossie hair in it. A memory in the making.
I think you will have to call in the HSE, to ensure that any future wet paint has clear signs in Labrador language!!
