This one's for those of you who are fond of a zombie, or indeed of Brad Pitt.
It's not New York (oops, Philadelphia); it's Glasgow, where some of WWZ is being filmed.
These pictures were taken from the block where my sister lives.
The block with the open balconies (see them in the centre of the facade) on which Brad Pitt has been filmed.
Brad Pitt on my sister's balcony...
There's the star, the one with the light on his face:
The residents are kept updated with the filming schedule that has taken up their waking hours, receiving wonderful little bulletins that read:
More zombie fun tomorrow:
- Filming on the junction with North Frederick Street and all the way along George Street to just beyond the junction with John Street.
- Motorhome escaping along George Street

- Much screaming
- Much running from the zombies
followed by:
Helicopter day so they'll be flying low and hovering over the filming area for much of the day. Those people who've been running away for the last ten days are going to have to run a little faster as the zombies approach from across the square.

Look out for a rare glimpse of the stars and stripes flying from the top of the City Chambers.
and where is my sister as this thrilly-spilly gruesome drama unfolds? On a Greek island, missing it all, that's where. Taking 'much running from the zombies' a little too far, perhaps?

I hope you'll forgive me, I had to Google Brad Pitt. Blushing now.
I'd choose a Greek island over Brad Pitt any day!
The chance to be bitten by Brad Pitt and then not being there, what a shame :-D

That must have snarled up Glasgow's traffic!
Crumbs! Does your sister live in the old GPO in George Square?
I'm with the veg artist (but if it had been George Clooney, Johnny Depp opr Robert Downie Junior, I'd be there in a flash). I used to work in Glasgow, so I've enjoyed seeing the news reports showing streets that I have walked along mamy, many times!
Mr Pitt doesn't do anything for me but it might be quite fun to watch all the same. Nothing happens in our street with its five houses. But it's peaceful.
Your sister is the wise one on her Greek Island! It must be fun to be caught up in the filming though....
I can imagine it being quite fun to be around the filming.....but still much rather be on a Greek Island!
xxx
Some years ago, a Bruce Willis movie was being filmed on the street in Philadelphia where I worked. Lots of big trailers and people standing around watching. It was fun while it lasted, but I would still rather be on a Greek island!
Never mind the 600 background artistes , the catering crew must have numbered 100 or more . Can you imagine the number of bacon rolls , cups of coffee and Portaloos needed !!
Great fun to watch .
