Flossie, I was with you all the way along the shore... Rachel, I am curious...what exactly are those red (curls, flowers, split balls...)? And by the by, the photo system you acquired is worth every pence! Love those snapshots! Enjoy a nice evening with your little family,
It's wonderful to know of a Blogger with eagle eyes , an excellent camera , sturdy legs , boundless energy ... and a Flossie . Thanks to her kindness , I can sit and enjoy a walk on a Somerset beach , while eating my porridge .
A beach walk and a steam train, what bliss. I thought the fungus was the red fleshy part of some Yew berries but I'm glad to be disabused of that notion.
Lovely pictures, and a steam train... perfect. I love the sound of trains and have lived in houses near to lines several times. I miss the sound of them at night!

Great photos of a lovely day Rachel. Love the concave red fungus, which grows in beech woodland.

Whoops! sorry meant to say common name for the fungus is Scarlet Elf Cup, very apt!
A very good day, then! Love the Flossie photos!

What a lifestyle! Flossie is one very lucky dog to have found her way to you.
it has been a lovely day.
thats a good cat..
I was hoping someone would tell me what the fungus was - thanks, Rose!
And that delightful cat lives next door, with its brother.
Beautiful Flossie... and beautiful Mo. Love your photos!
What a lovely way to spend a Sunday.
Lovely pics, gorgeous part of England you live in. Never seen that fungus before, kinda cute and nasty at the same time...lol. Take care, Lyn x
Such sweet faces.
And intriguing fungi.
Happy Sunny Day!!
Isn't that the train from Railway Children?

Gorgeous photos, it was like being there! I've never even heard of that particular fungus, the colour is amazing.
I see Flossie likes to be wet most of the time, like all good Labradors:-)

What a fine, fine head Flossie has. A dog's dog. And Jigs would like to be that slim but has trouble managing her appetite.
Yes .. you are certainly getting the hang of the camera - gorgeous shots & that Flossie she is one handsome labr-adore !! 3 cheers xoxo les Gang
