What Millie knows for sure:
that no home X-ray machine has yet been invented that can detect cupcakes!

Does she eat the paper? Poor Millie might get indigestion!

It has been a long week; you've been there, builders have removed ceiling and wall plaster, not to mention a fireplace, etc, etc, I am cleaning constantly but plaster dust seems to hover everywhere. I come to your blog to remind myself it can be got through successfully, and .... collapse laughing. What a tonic! Thank you. I adore Millie, but I'm so glad she's yours and not mine. I think mine are still hiding under a bed somewhere. OllieV

I think the team work like this: licking till desired object falls onto the floor; dog then picks it up, finds it's too big to chew (she has a very small mouth and only 7 teeth) and carries it off to hide it somewhere. Sometimes the cats' litter tray, sometimes her bed, sometimes my bed. Eventually I will find it stuck to her little duvet or mine, and bin it. All that effort, and no one gets to eat it in the end!

And if you are overwhelmed by your building work and feel that you will never have a clean orderly house again, go back a year to my July posts, and work forward from there. See? There is hope! (But not much if you are a slatternly housekeeper like me.)
