I enjoy your blog so much and your new little kitten is very cute. We were owned by cats for many years but when the last one passed on, we said "no more heartache". Now that retirement is on the plans in a year or two we plan to get at least two rescue cats then!

They never sleep where you want them to! I've bought countless cat beds, and mine still prefer the top of a chest of drawers. Spartan cats in this house!

oh my, click and enlarge and spy the tiny tip of a little pink tongue who's forgotten to go back in. Love it when cats do that.

I love Scooter - he reminds me of my Elbey - Elbey cool as a cucumber fresh out of the chiller walked over the dog and curled up with her in the dog's bed last night.

Tell Scooter (and the dog) that Rupert has a bed just like this, plus several strategically placed cardboard boxes of course!

Very cute! I just love cats. Counting my 2 indoor and 3 strays...that brings me up to five....and each one has their own darling personality. LOVE my gang !

More later,
Kary and the gang....

I feared that he'd forgotten his public but there he is again !
It has occured to me that your recce in Devon will give you a chance to find another piece of your and the Prince of Wales favoured flowery china .
You'll have to hope that he doesn't read this and nip down there to trawl the charity shops before you arrive .

Do you think Scooter knows he has an international fan club?

Oh very cute. Poor dog; he's a bit outnumbered, isn't he?

She, Isabelle, she - until Scooter arrived, this was an all-girl household (post-Kevin, anyway)and now I find myself getting muddled with having to add "good boy!" to my vocabulary again. The dog finds that all the cat treats more than make up for being the only dog/second smallest beast in the house. She knows her place....
