Friends know

...what to do when it's a cold, very wet day, and you're trying hard not to be irrationally upset by recent events, when you need that extra little bit of TLC, when surprises like a delivery of flowers and chocolate are guaranteed to deliver a message of comfort and support.....

Ordered from far away in hot sticky Toronto, and sent all the way from the Channel island of Jersey, a gift of gorgeously-scented freesias, my absolute favourites, and a neat red box of chocolates have brought that message home in the nicest possible way.

Thank you, Shelagh.

Ohhh,,,, how absolutely wonderful..... friends are a wonderful thing.... well, I think they must be, but, seeing as I don't actually have any in real life, I can't be absolutely certain.....

I love the scent of freesia too.... and chocolate...well, that goes without saying..... yum....

The flowers and chocolate look a fresh delight despite the distance. What an expression of friendship.

Lucky you! Something that will last and something that, er, wouldn't in this house at least.
