I bought some new shoes today - identical, other than a different colour, to the ones I wear for dog walking, and which are uncleanably filthy from kicking a ball for Flossie. These will be kept for non-dog walking. They are super-comfortable, and not as enormous as they look in this picture. They are also not glamorous.
The problem is, I think I have to wear this look with them.
Mwah!

Excuse me, I think you'll find those shoes are seriously cool!
The reason I know that is that I've got very similar shoes and I am very hip and trendy!!
Nothing's better than a pair of stylish comfortable shoes. Enjoy.
I have a picture of you sashaying down the street one hand on the hip, the other out front with a limp wrist, those shoes on your feet and that look on your face. I think, even if you asked the dogs, they may choose not to be seen with you. LOL
The air-kissing is optional , I think .
And I should cover your shoulders until eight in the evening , given the brisk winds at this time of year .
But the industrial goggles and gypsy earings are certainly very popular this year , as are leopard skin leggings , and will bring your wardrobe nicely up to date .
I think you could carry that off.
Well I know for certain I couldn't pull that look off. I bite my nails.
When you run in these for the bus (OAP bus pass concealed) you need to trot Alan Carr fashion perhaps, and for heavens sakes get a matching handbag if you're going to turn into a trendy old bag lady!
I've yet to purchase my good looking sneakers - like yours my others are the workhorse variety - indentations and scuffmarks from releasing wheelchair brakes on chairs. By the end of the week, my sneakers look down and out with a sagging tongue-just like me really! If I try that pouty look, at my age it just looks pursed-mouth and judgemental and/or as if I'm about to spit out my porridge!
Funky and comfy, just what you need. I remember the happy day when I realised that I would never have to buy 'office' clothes and shoes again, but could wear just what I wanted. Bliss.
I just bought a pair of pretty shoes (with high heels) that I wanted to wear to a wedding. After practicing wearing them in the house I decided to return them for something more comfortable. If they hurt my feet just walking in the house, I don't think I will be able to dance in them!
I admire your intention about not using the new pair for dog walking
and I wonder for how long ???
Very trendy though.
What do the dogs think of non-dog walks?
I have been eying up the trainers that allegedly tone one's backside while on the move. I think wearing dark glasses is a must with those as well, mainly in the hope one won't be recognised!
