Clematis (burgundy)
Clematis (white)
With its own wildlife
Or, in my case, fit to burst.
But I shall try not to, firstly because it wouldn't be pretty, but secondly, and chiefly, because it wouldn't be good for my new regime designed to deal with my scarily-high blood pressure.
But oh, the provocation!
Viewers. In pairs, with their visiting mum (his), then a few days later with her parents who live up the road and declare disbelievingly, in slightly accusing tones, that they hear that I've lived here for 30 years, but that they've never seen me before!
Viewers who tell the estate agent that they have fallen in love with my house.
Viewers who then make an offer that isn't so much low as insulting.
Outrage is a good diluting medium for disappointment; I am outraged.
I tell the agent not to bother relaying idiot offers to me, but to refuse them himself. I have my blood pressure boiler to look after.
I breathe slowly, and go for a long walk through the park.
Nothing more is heard.

Selling a house is not for the faint of heart. Looks like you are going to have some gorgeous blooms, though.
Please don't burst! Sorry to hear of your house viewing hell. Keep walking in the park and gazing at your beautiful flowers - they are stunningly healthy looking, my garden is parched. xx
I know it's supposed to be a buyers market but do they have to be insulting with their offers?
I hope it doesn't get you down too much.
Sorry about the insulting offer and the upset of selling the house. We went through this a few years ago, and it's truly stressful and insulting. Focus on the future, and the rest will take care of itself.
Love your buds!
Even with the title, I was looking at each of the clematis photos and I was sure the next one was going to be open...oh the disappointment. Don't forget to post a photo of the open flower so I don't burst!
Take a deep breathe and refuse to allow the idiots to bother you.
Your flowers are so pretty. Good photos too.
Of course , he might just not want to live down the road from her parents ?
All those buds are tantalising .... are you sure they're good for your blood pressure ? I'd be dashing out to peer at them all the whole time , checking on progress !
I have been the seller of a house three times, and know that people have many reasons for viewing. Unfortunately, sometimes it has nothing to do with actually wanting to buy!
And inhale slowly through the nose, exhale slowly through the mouth. See? No nasty messes caused by bursting to clean up.
Oh poor you. How infuriating. There there. Try singing - I'd recommend it. At least you have the comfort of them being disappointed too, I suppose... (nasty chuckle...)
My mum's flat hasn't sold either. Quite a few viewers but no takers.
Good Morning, beautiful and jealousy making clematis. I lost mine this winter when half of my crepe myrtle tree split from the snow.
Now I have 1/2 a tree and no clematis, 1/2 a tree might be better than none. We'll see....
Yoga. Have you tried yoga? Seriously Rachel, so relaxing. I want you to find a beginners class immediately.
Better than drugs for the blood pressure.

Ouch! Selling a house is enough to make your blood pressure rocket. Hope you're still breathing deeply, and savouring those beautiful clematis buds.
I can't wait until those bud burst! All that pent up energy. Good luck with the selling, such a frustrating time.
Deep breaths and focus on how beautiful those clematis are going to be!
I guess people do tend to try it on with their offers at the moment, but it's still insulting nonetheless.

Your garden must be an absolute picture. I think you should find pity in your heart for the idiots who cannot or will not commit to buying your house. Pity is much calmer than outrage;-)
