Back to waiting

The Somerset vendor still hasn't found anywhere to buy.

She says they are looking desperately.

I hope that's true; time is not on my side. My buyer is patient, but I know he wants to be in before September.

Meantime, I'm doing this again:

Thank goodness for Helpers.

Even if they don't quite understand what 'helping to pack a bag' really means.

There's something about a fluffy cat's face - total sweetness and innocence, isn't there?

I am sending out positive vibes to the vendor to find somewhere!

The vendor could move into rented accommodation? We did that. It was a horrible time but we didn't want to lose our buyer...

Lovely pictures of Lottie, bless her.

I agree with Annie, that would be the best way forward.

The vendor doesn't want to rent, and neither do I. My feeling is that she should, if she's serious; I don't want to make such a huge move to somewhere temporary, and would prefer to rent - if I must - up here in the North, where my friends are close at hand. I'm almost at the stage where I can say to her that I must look elsewhere for a house if we can't move faster than this.....

Doesn't life get complicated sometimes !
Still , you're at least in the right part of the chain , as the vendor must know all too well . She'll really have to have a sensible look for their dream home , or the next best thing , starting NOW ..... or you are free to hunt elsewhere.
But I'm keeping my fingers x-ed that this purchase goes through painlessly . It's a long way to travel for a day's househunting .

Well at least that's one thing that won't take much packing. Fingers still crossed, this time for the perfect place to pop up for your Somerset vendor.

The waiting must be awful for you, it's a good job you've got things to do and helpers to help you take your mind off things!!

Well I guess we'll hold off on our packing if you don't know where you'll be....

I was looking forward to a slice or two of your cakes.

What would one do without assistants? Hope she finds somewhere soon. (How about my mum's flat??? I'm sure Edinburgh must be in her research area...)

Fed up still being Anonymous, but it's Isabelle.

Your vendor is best placed to find somewhere, whether to buy or to rent. (Blogger still playing up - I tried to leave a comment last night!)
