Dealing with it

I am dealing with the busy little wasps building a nest under my house via the tiny air holes in my front step.

I am dealing with poor Scooter's bladder crystals and cystitis.

I am dealing with the symptoms thereof, on furniture and floors.

I am dealing with the dead dishwasher and replacing it with a second-hand one.

And.....

I am dealing with today's wait while my vendors also wait to hear if/which of their offers on two properties is accepted.

I am also dealing with my urge to eat cake.

Not that there is any cake, you understand; that helps. Please feel free to have cake on my behalf. It would be a kindness.

Oh, poor little Scooter, I am so sorry for his trouble. And for yours, Rachel. If I do happen upon some cake today I will eat it for you, I promise.
Our cat Tiger suffered from a similar condition a couple of years ago. The vet performed a surgery called PU for short. It sounded a bit gruesome and it was expensive but he has been fine every since. Don't know if Scooter's situation is the same, but it sounds similar. Poor little thing. I hope he gets better.

Sorry to hear about the avalanche, Rachel... Remember to breathe, it really helps.

Property chains are horrible, horrible things. Always. They create worry all on their own. Scooter is obviously absorbing the stress. Pehaps he should have cake, too.

I would dearly eat cake for you however, it is not allowed. One of our cats had a similar problem and our friendly homeopath made a remedy from Squeaky's droppings and the problem has never occurred since.

Yes breathe deeply and if necessary into a brown paper bag.

Shall be thinking of you Good Luck

I'm so glad we have permission to have cake. You see, I had a big slice of Red Velvet cake for breakfast. Because the child is gone for the day and I can. Sit tight and breathe. I know it will all turn out just fine. Really, it will. It just doesn't feel like it right now.

I'd love to help but I rarely eat cake. I hope it goes well for poor Scooter and, too, for you. BTW I saw the following link today and thought of you, especially where it says that Statins DO NOT WORK FOR WOMEN. You are very sensible to be dealing with your problem by diet.

First of all, am eating lots of cake to keep you sane....please donate to my artery surgery. Second, my cat had that problem and my vet said to give him some vitamin C each day and it might help. I "gave" him a Vit C pill each day and he never had to have the surgery. I understand that giving a cat a pill that it doesn't want each day may take more cake but I'm willing to sacrifice.
ps. Crossing my fingers on the houses!

Now I don't need to feel guilty for eating the piece of Malcolm's custard slice that he gave me this afternoon - at the time I though it was a reward for scrubbing the bathroom floor, but now I know I ate it to help you (what greater sacrifice can there be, than to eat a cake for a friend!!) Seriously, I hope poor Scooter recovers soon, and your vendors get a move on (literally and figuratively!!)

I did find some cake today. Went to my sister's to babysit, and there was some of my niece's birthday cake left. Yum! Did it for you, Rachel!

Hang on in there. I have no cake but I'll have some homemade choc chip cookies on your behalf, if you insist.

You sound right on top of it all. After all you have even ensured that there is no cake! That is what I call forward planning.
And I love the ball post above. How good it is that life that can be so simple. xx
