Sorry, Jane, but today's flowers are getting a bit past it.
But it's too gloomy and wet outside to do much about them, or to photograph them where they are usually placed.
It's August. AUGUST! Feels like March.
We don't approve.
Thank goodness for flowers, even if they are a bit tatty.

Beautiful photos!
Love your roses! they still look great - especially compared to all the tired "stuff" in my garden. thanks for sharing.
From this side of the pond your flowers look lovely. And your water is clean, half the battle.
Plus yo tucked in a cat photo so you are clearly a house we love to visit!
Thanks for coming to the party!
xo Jane
You may think they look a little tired but I like them:-)
Knowing that we were about to have terrible weather, I picked a large bunch of crocosmia. They're quite garish, but are adding a lovely zing of colour on this most miserable of Bank Holidays!
The orange rose is especially lovely--what a beautiful color!
Moan, moan from the frozen North where we dream of March weather. It's like blooming November here. I've got the central heating cranked right up and a log fire on!!!!! Whilst muffled to the gills in many-layered clothing. And it's so dark . . .
I think your flowers look lovely.
lovely flowers!
Here in Spain it has been a sunny day. I miss the rain :)
Your roses don't look droopy at all. Rain is good! Here in NJ it's hot dry icky, droopy, droopy, droopy...and weedy. Ugh!
Roses , like tulips , look nicer the older and tattier they get . I'm hoping the same holds true for me .
Tatty flowers? You must be jesting?!
Lottie and Scooter (?) really do seem to be disapproving!
I can't wait for Autumn! It is Winter however that gets a tad dreary here (P NW) with all the rain...
Blessings to all,
Your photography has improved recently, that last picture is gorgeous. As is the one with the cats in...
