You didn't, did you?
Did you think I'd take him? How barmy do you think I am? (Don't answer that.) Some days, I look at my team, and wonder "How on earth did I end up with six animals?"
No, enough is enough, and I didn't falter for a nano-second. In fact, I wasn't even tempted; life is just right as it is, animal-wise. (It could be better, catflap-installing-wise, but that's another story, involving a pencil behind my ear, lots of chiselling, planing, sanding, and keeping my temper.)
Instead, I passed on the young labrador's details and scanned photos to friends in Northumberland. They were the ones whose Twilight Barking approach to doggy news succeeded in finding Flossie for me in less than a fortnight.
Hopefully, this lovely chap will be found a good home very soon, with an owner who is going to be utterly thrilled to have him. Just like me, but not me!

Well done for resisting. We did wonder, you know! He does look gorgeous, though, and would have toned in well with your lot.
Have to admit to being a little disappointed but of course you're right. We're sticking with what we've got - just hope no-one tempts us with a spotty puppy or a black Lab pup!
No I didn't! Really, I did not. Not for you that is. Seriously thought about it for me and Patty though...
That's spooky - I've just watched a clip from 101 Dalmations on another blog!!
In my heart I thought you might, but in my head I knew you wouldn't. He does look irresistible.
It's the same with me... some days I think of taking in more of the outdoor cats, but something tells me four is enough. (That something being my husband.)
I did think you would be tempted - in for a penny, in for a pound etc.
Wait until you get the cottage with the rolling acres......
No, I suppose not really - well, maybe a little bit...

wheew..........
Well, I don't know you THAT well yet, so the thought of one more dog was de finately there.
Now I know you better.
No, I actually thought you might. And I've met you! But I am quite gullible.
He is such a cute dog. If he was here in Virginia, I would give him a home. I hope he finds a place soon.
Good for you. We have to be at One Cat, and it's difficult to keep saying no to others, but we've only got space to do right by one. You have place for six, and that's wonderful.
Well done for resisting temptation, but he does look a lovely dog. I hope someone makes room for him soon. Labs are wonderful dogs.
