We've all been busy this week.
In our different ways, of course.
Layers: mortar, latex, latex, mortar.
A proper windowsill.
Electrics.
Lakes, trees.
Tackling obstacles.
Lunch in a funny little place, once a mill (and, we were told, mentioned in the Domesday Book).
They were slender folk in 1085....
Rolling countryside.
Dulverton.
Resting.
More rolling countryside.
Rolling steep countryside.
And more old buildings.
And at last it's the weekend, and we don't have to get up early for the builders.

We have over a foot of snow, it's 7.7 f and we're going skiing in an hour (Royal we....not me! I've a date with a mug of chocolate in the Chalet)
All those wonderful photos and waht do I like best .... the bold Flossie squeezing under the gate! Himself is impressed with, first, the tanking, and second, all you practising with the new camera!
I much prefer your idea of busy, rather than the builders. Gorgeous pictures - you live in such a lovely part of the world.

Oh dear, I have to confess that not all these pictures are mine - some are Tricia's, taken with her ever-so-grand professional camera and powerful zoom, while I get to grips with the standard lens on my new camera. Once I've got the hang of it, I'll play with the zoom too!

Sorry for this complete diversion from the topic, but... I see you have "Tales from a Cottage Garden" on your blog list. I also follow that blog, have for a long time now, and just now when I tried to read it, it was blocked as "invitation only".
I'm pretty sure this is a mistake, she was maybe trying to upgrade her blog, or block spammers or something, but I have no way to contact her to request an invite.
