Despite the frosts and cold winds of recent nights and days, the back yard and the front patch are bursting with vigour.
Brightly coloured...
And somewhat subtler...
And of course, a small cat.
Or two.
They keep an eye on Nature's progress.

Do like Millie perched on top of the giant poppy !
I love the flowers and the cats. Cats are essential to any scene in my book!
And you make out like it's Siberia up there in the North! My clematis is still sulking, along with most other things apart from daffs, but then, they have to flower in Wales. It's the law.
Lovely pictures, isn't Mother Nature wonderful? Is that Scooter on the bench? He has the right idea, feet up and enjoy the scenery.
It's Hamish on top of the giant poppy, craning his neck to see what we're doing in the big scary outdoors, and Scooter doing what he does best, lolling.
The downside of having your plants sheltered from the Siberian winds is that you can only see bricks, walls, concrete and rooftops all around in a totally built-up environment, no grass, sky or horizon .....
Well done on the throwing-out front. Nearly ready to move, then? Lovely flowers - so blossomy.
Can't imagine moving any time soon. Too much stuff. Must destuff us some time. A retirement job, methinks...
Your surroundings are packed with flourishing growth and color! What kind of fern? Looks like something I know as "fiddlehead," that rarely I have eaten. Very good, tastes like asparagus. I'm guessing you don't eat your landscaping, however. And maybe all young fern fronds look the same?
Thanks for asking, but no fairytales. My friend was disappointed, I think, that I am not more disabled. :-P
oh it has been so chilly lately here too.. we had warmer weather in Feb. this year (which was very unusual)...
Your flowers are so much more advanced than here.. and what a gorgeous variety you have ...you have created a paradise!
Your flowers are so pretty! I love the variety you have - also love the kitties.
Simply loverly... I just sat and caught up on all your posts from the last week, as I just returned from visiting me mum down in NC. What great pics! Lovely pathway!
My favorite has to be the tiny cat sitting on the HUGE poppy... hee hee!
Great photographs. Wish I could say our garden was similarly flourishing and colourful but it seems we specialise in twigs.
Lovely lovely lovely...
But it's lovely!
