Goodness me, no, Val - there's more chance of snow at Easter than at Christmas here! But we can rejoice in these early signs, even if they disappear again.
Oh, I wish we had some of these (though they'd be mad - frosty again this morning).
I did NOT like that mouse post. Oh dear! That's the one thing I don't like about cats. I don't think you should be encouraging them with the oxygen of publicity....
Departed Son... ah, I feel for you. Three fold. It's not fair. Children should stay with their parents for ever. Just like we did. (Ahem.)
Ladybird ladybird fly away home, Your house in on fire and your children are gone, All except one and that's little Ann, For she crept under the frying pan.
Ladybird, ladybird, fly away home You'll find that your youngest, dear Annie, has gone She's left you a note saying, 'I love you lots' But she's gone and eloped with a guy who has spots.

A sweet picture and such a change for you after all the snow and grey skies. Does this mean that spring has arrived?

The snow from our last snow storm has finally melted! But that doesn't mean we can't get more... I just hope we don't!
Personally, I think you painted a snail...
We've got ladybirds too , poor deluded things . Perhaps I should be knitting them little scarves ?

Google came up with this-
Ladybird ladybird fly away home,
Your house in on fire and your children are gone,
All except one and that's little Ann,
For she crept under the frying pan.
Do you now go and have a look, just in case? LOL
