Out walking yesterday with busy friend Lesley, the great putter-off of things that should/must/ought to be done now. We talked of the need to make lists. Lesley was much taken by the sunbeams through the trees, and captured them on her Blackberry. (Meantime I was helping a frantic labrador find her lost ball on the river bank.)
Lesley commented on the Biblical nature of the sight - prophets ascending in chariots, and so on. And behind her, a voice intoned solemnly "
Procrastination is the thief of time, Lesley."
Well, I'm no prophet, but I know her weak spots......

But also,'carpe radii' - 'seize the rays.'
Can't really cap that pun ..lol
love the photos esp the first one .
Oh brilliant! Not only can you remember such things but can put them into words whilst dealing with a frantic dog and rescuing a ball in the river! Now that's multi tasking ♥
I was just going to ask if God had taken the pics when i read the body of your post. Not God, a phone.
Works for me.

Yes - making lists of what needs to be done makes you feel as if you are doing something constructive, instead of putting things off even more!
Flossie's turned into a soothsayer ? Or a Wise Woman ?
Beautiful shots! Sounds as though Flossie needs a little more retrieving practice. Didn't her Labrador pal help her?
We wish to reach out to your friend, Lesley, clearly in need of our confidential support. At prevaricators anonymous, we meet monthly (so long as we don't have to postpone) and share stories of real barriers to action and progress in time management. Ask her to contact us before the end of the year. x
