Reflect on this 3

Sometimes, little things bring unexpected happiness.

Today all it took was neighbour Claire's car in the sunshine, communicating with:

the little pane in the front door.

And then - for a few minutes - the hall became a light show:

Morning sunshine transformed.

I am often intensely happy here in my little house.

Little things can transform the mundane into something spectacular. Lovely photos.

Spectacular! Are the four-footed inhabitants of your little house at all interested?

.... nice results from the communication between the car and door pane!

And that happiness is to be seized on, as you have.

Your house was definitely a good buy .
It doesn't just keep you cosily out of inclement weather .... you have a daily Son et Lumière as well . Wonderful !

Ever read Catching the Light by Arthur Zajonc? A history of us and our ideas about light. Lovely, like your photos.

Your little house and your new life suits you and the tribe so well (frogs apart). So glad.

I read somewhere once, and I think it's true, that the very simplest things often give the most pleasure. The sun, with the help of your neighbours car, laid on a beautiful light show for you. It couldn't be bought and it made you happy.

I wish I had light dancing around my house as much as you do!

It's all about having your eyes wide open to finding the unexpected beauty ~ :)

Rachel, I've been reading your blog for quite a while now and just today noticed your new photo. You look fabulous! When you lived in the Northeast, you looked rather dour (sorry), but now you positively glow. I'm certain your previous photo was a reflection of your surroundings, but I am so glad your move was successful and you are obviously very happy in your new location.
