So tired......
We gave up on television at midnight; instead, we lay in bed and listened in the dark to the election results coming in on the radio, till around 3.30 a.m.
That'll teach us.
Some of us are staying bed today.
We're depressed.
What did you do?

Just hanging!
Went to bed, I can't stand the posturing, both by the media and the politicians. I woke up several times from a nightmare and finally decided to look at the BBC website for ongoing results.
I am depressed too.
Similarly weary over here.
Following with interest...sometimes a hung parliament can be good for a country, what do you think?
I agree with Friko, I can't stand the posturing either. We have that over here, too (an understatement).
During the election in 2000 we had sleepless nights for a month while the State of Florida and the Supreme Court decided that George Bush was going to be our President. I was depressed for eight years.
We might still hae to wait days for a final verdict?????
My late, great-aunt, who managed 100 years and six months, despite having signed 'The Pledge' believed in medicinal brandy. There are times!
Why depressed, you lot? All pollies are the same regardless of which side of the bed they get up on.
Your cats have the right idea - hibernate. ;)
Also disenchanted here, to the point where I would emigrate if only (a) I were younger, (b) the country I'd like would have me (and cats), and (c) if someone else would sort/pack my lifetime's accumulated hoard of "stuff"! I heartily vote for the proposed medicinal brandy. OllieV
I sat in the kitchen, marking, till 1.30 am and then went to bed, waking from time to time to listen to the radio. It wasn't very exciting. I'm also a bit depressed. But probably not as much as G Brown, D Cameron or N Clegg.
Can't understand the amount of media coverage we get about it all here in Australia.A lot of Australians don't know their own politicians,or political history, let alone feigning any interest in the British system. It's not for lack of the media putting it out there, that's for sure.
I went to bed at 11.30 and listened to Radio 4 in the dark, which I love to do, fell asleep (as I usually do) and husband switched off the radio when he came to bed.
Whoever is in parliament, they can't do right for doing wrong, twas ever thus, methinks.
Had a long soak in the bath and went to bed, with fond(ish) memories of Peter Snow and his ACTUAL swingometer.
