Er, um... I'm taking refuge indoors with all the curtains closed, windows open and fan on full. Most irregular. Melting sums it up. There needs to be a spell check for comments me thinks.
Here it was a lovely day and I did two lots of washing and hung them out in an ecological fashion and then it suddenly plumped with big raindrops and my almost-dry washing got All Wet. Grr.
I thought you didn't have a garden? That looks like a garden to me. Mysterious...
(I live in a city because I always have done and my friends and family are here and jobs and things. I fantasise about living in the country but I would need my loved ones about me. Marks and Spencers not so much.)
We escaped rain yesterday, but are due a whopper early afternoon according to the forecast. Computer and TV will be off at the wall! I've noticed the plants outside too - presumably shrubs in pots? So you have a private, sheltered 'courtyard' !!! I have prevailing westerlies with a house that faces north - not much shelter for my plants here.

Hmf... our July 1st looks a lot like yours! We had a rollicking, booming thunder storm last night.
Yes, there's lots of booming and flashing going on right now. The air is so thick you could stir it with a spoon.

Another NE friend just Twittered about the storm - now I get to see it - wish we had one or two down here, it is like an oven outside.
