All better now, thank you

There's nothing like sympathy to make a girl feel better. I didn't know how many of you cared.

Big purrs to you all.

PS: I knew I wasn't lively enough for the others' food; should have stuck to the sensible stuff. After all, I am a Sensitive Cat...

Ah Lottie, I'm so glad that you're feeling better and I must say that you're looking as sleek and pretty as ever.

Of course we care - about you all. You are our virtual cats (no, not you, Rachel), and we are endlessly interested in you. We follow Millie's career aspirations, Hamish's insecurities, Tosca's wardrobe, Scooter's .. well anything you all do really.

Perhaps your owner would consider 24hr cameras - I, for one, would be hooked!

Lottie is very similar to a wonderful cat I used to have called Stanley. He would do a 'rag doll' impersonation when my daughters picked him up when they were little, you know that way young children have of picking up cats and draping them over an arm, or may be that's how a cat drapes itself in such circumstances.

The only dried food I use for my pets, dogs and cats is 'Burns' because it is totally organic, no additives or preservatives, and the resulting poo poos is much as such stuff should be! Cheaper in the long run and quaranteed not to cause reactions, hypersensitivy or allergies. I plug it because I and my animals learned the hard way.

Burns - thank you but yuk, say all my cats. Ditto the very expensive, cereal-free 'biologically-appropriate' Orijen samples, anything from Hills. James Wellbeloved and Royal Canin is what I feed them usually, but Lottie took a fancy to the youngsters' food, and overdid it. She has a sensitive system, we think as a result of her state of starvation before she came to me, and it's unusual for her to eat without being coaxed. All better now though!

Even cats with Sensitive Stomachs feel tempted to just try a little taste of something new . Cats with Extremely Sensitive Stomachs , however , may find that it doesn't agree with them .
As long as she doesn't begin to bang sharply on her chest and bellow " I'm fighting it ! " followed by a large burp like a long-ago acquaintance .

Me again. Someone may be interested (?) but I knew 'Burns' quite well years ago when he was a vet. He always had a superb reputation, and began his move away from being a standard vet when he became concerned about chemical treatments etc. He trained in pet accupuncture - I have no idea if he still does this. Eventually, he set up his pet food company.
I always wished he had gone into human treatments - he was superbly intuative where animals were concerned, and I trust him totally.
The website is superb, with advice on diet and holistic living for pets and humans! www.burnspet.co.uk

I don't mean this as an advert - just to say that John is one of the most genuine people I have ever known, and he understands animal health and nutrition so well.

When was the last time you yourself got 13 get well cards, dear Rachel?

Mmm. Me neither. I knew I was wrong not to be a cat.

Just found you via " rattlingon"..and was astounded to see your Lottie,..she is so like my cat TaiChi, but he hasn't got the white bib! Does she only have the "ruff" in the winter? TC grows his when it gets cold, and it goes again in the spring. We used to live in Morpeth from late 1974 til January 1979, and I loved it up there ( we are from Leicester and have lived in Harpenden for the last 30 years). All your cats look fab.....I used to always have 2 cats, but just the one at the moment and one dog ( my baby! ) X
