Deterred!?! Mine liked nothing better than crashing through ice or rolling in snow. In fact she still loves snow best of all even though she can't go for walks any longer. I used to have to take 3 pairs of gloves out as well for when they all got wet!!
First frost! I heard apples always taste better after they've been subjected to a frost. I wonder how cold it will have to get before Flossie says no to the water.
Just wait until it snows ... we used to throw snoballs for our spaniel - who would get frustrated when she couldn't find them when they landed!! (If you threw a stone, she could always find it - and carry it back home!)
We have to be careful when the ponds and lakes are frozen but otherwise the dogs never stay out of the water, however cold it is. Even the Dalmatian with his short fine coat still has to have his daily dip
I can feel the coolness of the brilliant autumn morning. We have them here as well, and I love them from the bottom of my feet to the top of my head!!! Weather changes are exhilirating and inspire me to take on new tasks.

Frost on regal leaves and garden. Beautiful.
Would you believe 79 degrees today and 80 degrees tomorrow? And(!) I had to turn on the air conditioning.
Can I come live with you?

Looks like a beautiful, brisk morning walk. Hope you are recovering from your tumble.

Let us know when you need more dog-towels, won't you!

I think you are probably colder than we are but a chrysanthemum I left out was looking sorry for itself.
First frost? We've had several down here already. Sorry to read about your fall, hope you are not feeling too sore.
Brrr! It hasn't been that cold here yet. What a brave (or foolish!) dog! Penny x

Looks a wonderful day and good to see Flossie out and about so cheerily!
Frost is always so beautiful ~ but I do not like the cold that comes with it! We have past frost and gone right to snow here. Very sad. :(
