If it was longer than the photo on the right I can see that it must have been a shock but it looks nice and will grow out beautifully. btw, can I have a closer look at that lovely print over the mantlepiece please?
No way of emailing you, Lucille, but it's an 'Advertising Art Poster by George Auriol for the Chat Noir Theatre, Paris; for the play Hero & Leandre; Hero is a Priestess of Aphrodite & lives in Sestos, in the town of Hellespont (Dardanelles), Leandre lives in Abydos; it’s a Greek / Roman mythological play, a tragedy of unrequited love.' You look great! I just got the same cut/length but without the bangs (my hair is too fine for good bangs like yours). My hairdresser blew it dry with the ends softly flipping out instead of in, and even I can do it. I was shocked at first, but I'm liking it now. So much easier!
Your hair looks very nice but that is no consolation if it is not how you wanted it to look. I've come to the conclusion that hairdressers are congenitally unable to cut hair in the way they are asked to.
It's a shame you're not happy with the new look (which looks great to me). Reminds me of the time my hairdresser went a bit too far with the blonde highlighting and Myra Hindley stared back at me from the mirror.
I think you look rather smart. That reminds me, though. I suppose I should get my hair cut. My hairdresser has an ambition, frequently fulfilled, to make me look like a billiard ball.
Maybe if you didn't look so stern... it's a great hair and and you look fantastic. I wish my hairdresser would make mine shorter but he truly seems to be intent on making me look like Rachel Ashwell.
I can recommend Isabelle as a hairdresser if you don't want too much cut off. I never do (haven't been to a real hairdresser since 1993, if I remember correctly). But then my hair is almost as nature might have left it, as Lady Bracknell would say.
By the way, I'm impressed by those spaces on the bookshelves. We have a few spaces like that too, after our Big Clear Out. How long will this last....?
You're in style, girl!! I always say "it will grow out". With my short hair, getting a "perfect" hair cut is tricky. Why don't they know what what a quarter of an inch means? Sorry, a half millimeter.. When I leave the beauty shop, I pull and pull on what little is left, but to no avail. I'm thinking a wig will do at those times.
You look great, but it is frustrating when hairdressers don't listen. I have a lovely hairdreser, but even he gets carried away. the better the conversation, the shorter my hair! (That dog is such a card!)

Forgot to say, Flossie would look beautiful no matter whose ears she had.

Why don't hairdressers ever listen? It does look like a good cut though :-)
ps. I do like it longer (and darker) like your photo on the left - said she who is growing her new darker hair longer ;-)

It's fine! You won't frighten the horses when you go out (unlike me!) :o)
That is a decent haircut.
I don't have trouble with hairdressers. I get my mam to do it and she knows how I like my hair LOL.

A bright smile would distract folks from your hair until it grows out again, you know... *wink*
