We are sailing....

Flossie and I went shopping for fabric yesterday with Annie. She came away with a handful of samples to try against her sofa.

I splashed out on something irresistible.

Flossie and I think our new metre of fabric (Mulberry's 'Deco Sails') is rather jolly, don't you? It might make a cheerful pinny; on the other hand, it might make an equally cheerful addition to my 'Some Day...' collection.

PS Too revoltingly wet to go to the allotment today; Tosca made her feelings known after 100 yards, and declined the walk through Jesmond Dene in the pouring rain that Flossie thought was heavenly.

I can see that I am destined to become weatherbeaten, rather than merely aged.

Lots of cream on face, hands and any other exposed bits and the elements are beaten! Love the fabric - great fun :-)

Lovely fabric. It looks very "Bloomsbury". Could it have been designed by Vanessa Bell or Duncan Grant? It is very much in their style.

It poured with rain nearly all Sunday here....

Very pretty fabric. My black lab loved getting wet whether from rain, a pond, or mud puddles. In his opinion water was fun. Good Luck!
