from January to July is all it took to turn this fuzzy, excitable little girl with enormous feet into a plump and glossy sophisticate. Oh, and regular applications of stolen butter.

The eyes say it all.
From "Help me, I need you to look after me" to "Your only function in life is to feed me" in such a few short months.
I still go all soft remembering Rupert when I collected him when he was 4 weeks old (a farm kitten whose mother had been run over by a tractor a few days after having her kittens). He was tiny, perky, spikey and so cute. Now 16, going on 17, toothless but still healthy and agile, never a lap cat, his idea of fun is watching us gardening!

What an adorable kitten! And what a beautiful lady cat she's grown up to be!
