...that I could blog-share the scent of this desktop plant with you. As its somewhat insignificant flower opens, its scent becomes more pronounced. Sweet but not sickly, a little like jasmine, the room fills with a subtle perfume in the evening. Lovely.

I've never seen one flower before so that is something ..for the scent I'll just have to rely on your description :0)

The trouble with m-in-law's tongues is that they just keep expanding... I agree about the flowers, though.
M-In-laws tongues can't increase as fast as Spider plants , surely ?
Never smelt one , it's not a plant that invites close encounters , really .
Sounds like the kind of thing I love and someone else who lives in this house would hate and say, 'I'll have to put that one outside - the smell gives me a headache'. Sigh.
I've had one of those plants for years, didn't even know they were supposed to flower. I am going to give mine a good talking to.
I've never had one of these, but am very tempted now.
I love the in-built knowledge of all plants. Give them a little of what they need, and they're away. (My cold propagator's full at the moment, so I'm checking on my 'babies' 20 times a day!)
Hmm, sounds (and looks) lovely. I might have to buy one now. I understand Sansevieria's are hardy plants, which is what they have to be if they want to survive in my house.
