Sorted

They're here, bringing heaps of lovely presents, including a very silly UFO remote controlled toy that has mesmerised the dog:

and a ferret-and-ball toy that has had the cats thoroughly excited, in a slightly scared way:

And we are all having a perfectly lovely time.

How lovely they arrived before the next onslaught , which seems to be imminent .
Ho Hum , I'm all snowflaked out .

I've always loved cat and dog reactions to technology. You haven't truly laughed until you've seen a pit bull chasing a laser pointer dot.

I've got one of those ferret and ball toys. My cats are scared to death of it! Glad you're having a lovely time.

Rupert doesn't like toys! Maybe once a year he will chase a leaf in the wind - for 20 seconds.
I've told him that your lot sound much more fun. He just went back to sleep!

Buzz would run a mile from those toys! Enjoy the rest of the festivities.

Oh dear, poor confused you. But it's a confusing time of year. I have to think hard as to which day it is, myself, not being at work (hurray) at the moment. So you're no worse than me. Of course, maybe I've got Alzheimer's too...

Have a lovely time with your sister. (I wish I had a sister.)

And it's better than the other way round: them arriving and you not being ready. Or being out. Or whatever. And you've got an extra day with LS.

Can understand the apprehensiveness of your dog and cat - these are confusing days - not sure I can cope either. We have a mouse under the floor - or above the ceiling (depending on where one is sitting). Finding that difficult too...
